We’re pausing here for a moment at Relationship Rhythms to share our grief at the recent mass shooting in Orlando, Florida. Unfortunately, here in the U.S., this is becoming an all-too-familiar story. We are the only “advanced” country in the world where anyone can purchase an assault weapon on a whim–few questions asked.
Here’s a brief reflection from Nelba Marquez-Greene, a mother (and family therapist) whose six-year old daughter was killed at Sandy Hook in 2012.
Also–check out this post by filmmaker Robert Greenwald about the insanity of making assault weapons available to the public.
